Shaping Spiritual Intelligence in a Baby: Strawberry Obeys Allah

Shaping Spiritual Intelligence in a Baby: Strawberry Obeys Allah

Today is a public holiday in Singapore. It was quite hectic in the morning and rainy in the afternoon. So, we didn't had a chance to go for a walk into the nature. Today's activity is reading book about Alula's favourite fruit: strawberry.

Initially this morning we wanted to go to the nearest lake for a walk, but Lulu woke up a bit late today and Mama needs to buy a shelf for the kitchen. So, we did our morning walk in IKEA instead, haha.

We spent almost half day there. Mama enjoys looking around furnitures and room designs. Alula was having fun too playing in the children section with Papa. We went straight home from IKEA as we had many stuffs to carry: Mama's shopping hunt (and Alula's toys :D). After we reached home, we had lunch and took a nap.

When we woke up in the late afternoon, it was raining. Our plan to go for a walk finding animals had to be postponed. Then Mama had an idea. Why don't we read a book about strawberry?

The book is interesting. It tells Alula about how strawberry grows from a little runner into the read yummy fruit. Subhanallah! Only Allah has the power to make strawberry grow. The book is a bit to wordy for an infant. Alula's attention was easily swift into other things as the texts are too long. Mama and Papa need to be creative on telling the story, by pointing at the pictures and cut the story short :) Hmmm.. I suspect that she doesn't really like reading like (ehm..) Mama, hahaha!

Hopefully we will have a nice day tomorrow, Alula. What about finding pigeons? ;)
